πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈAmerica's Trivia Game

A free trivia game built for people who love American history, geography, civics, and culture.

USATrivia.us is a passion project built for trivia lovers, students, teachers, and anyone who wants to test their knowledge of the United States. No accounts, no subscriptions, no downloads β€” just great questions and a lot of fun.

What You'll Find Here

The site offers more than 1,000 trivia questions across ten categories, six distinct game modes, and a growing library of articles about American history, the fifty states, U.S. presidents, major historical events, and national symbols. Everything on the site is free to use, and always will be.

Every question is written and fact-checked by hand. If you ever spot an error, the in-game feedback form goes straight to a human inbox, and corrections usually get made within a day or two. The same goes for the articles in the Learn Center β€” if you find something factually off, please let us know.

Game Modes

Classic Quiz. Pick a category, choose between ten and one hundred questions, and play solo or with up to four players passing the device. Adjustable timer and difficulty settings let you tune the challenge.

One Strike. Survival mode. You start with three lives. Every wrong answer costs a life. How far can you go before all three are gone?

Speed Round. Ten questions, ten seconds each. Fast fingers and quick recall win. Perfect for a quick break between meetings or classes.

Classroom Mode. Live multiplayer for up to thirty students. The teacher displays a six-letter room code on a projector or smartboard. Students join from their phones or laptops. The host controls pacing, shows the leaderboard, and reviews wrong answers together. Great for the end of a history or civics unit.

Map Challenge. A blank map of the United States. You are given a state name and you click it on the map. Three difficulty levels, from forgiving to ruthless.

Endless Mode. All 1,000-plus questions in one random shuffle. Play until you run out of time, patience, or questions.

Categories

Questions cover Presidents, States, Geography, U.S. History, Sports, Entertainment, Science and Technology, Food and Drink, Military, and Government and Law. A special "Mixed" category pulls random questions from every bucket.

The Learn Center

Beyond the game, the Learn Center is a growing library of articles on American topics. Browse state profiles, president biographies, articles on major events and historical turning points, and features on national symbols. Each article is written to be genuinely readable and useful, not just stuffed with keywords.

How It Stays Free

USATrivia.us is and always will be free to play. The site is supported by advertising through Google AdSense. No paywalls, no premium tiers, no tricks, and no "unlock more questions" pop-ups. If you want to support the site, the most helpful thing you can do is tell a friend or a teacher.

Who Built This

USATrivia.us is a family project. My dad, Jeremy Hindman, owns the site. I'm Will, I'm 14, and I'm the one who built it.

My dad's an attorney. He handles all the business and legal side β€” AdSense, the domain, the boring adult stuff. I write the questions, design the game modes, and come up with the ideas. We work on it together in our spare time.

I started it because I went looking for a good American trivia site online and couldn't find one. The ones I found were either old and clunky, or packed with pop-up ads, or just didn't have enough questions. I figured I'd build a better one. My dad said fine, as long as I kept my grades up.

The goal is simple: somewhere students, families, and anyone who loves this country can have fun, learn something new, and test what they know. No accounts. No paywalls. No "unlock more questions" pop-ups.

If you have ideas for new questions, or you find a mistake, please let us know through the contact page. We read every message.
